Got a chance to get out of town yesterday, took the GF for a 250 mile loop out to Big Bear. Met up with a few friends and hit the road. Had a great time, was a pleasure to ride up at the snow line - fresh air did my attitude a wonder. We hit some higher altitudes and I had a small restart pause but with some choke and some prodding I got her going again. It was chilly so it might have been a cold engine.
The guys had cameras all over the place so as more pics show up I'll add them.
Here are some of the shots.

I hate to say it - but this is just the close stuff there is better farther north, it just takes all day to get there and then it's an overnight stay to really enjoy it. Thx -BI

Great pics. nice to see someone on this forum isn't snowed in. We've had sun and 60's one day and snow and 20's the next.
Glad you enjoyed them, - It would be a real bad year if / when this part of the country gets "snowed in"... There was snow where we were - but the roads have been clear for a few weeks now.

Here's the first long video one of the guys did - He has a go-pro with the wide angle lens mounted on his helmet. Most of the video is of the front looking back - the rider you see most is on a Ducati Monster. Next in line was the glide rider then us then the sweep on his v-rod.
At 1:04:00 of the video it gets good - he starts at the back shooting forward and I'm right in front of him (about 14 minutes)- so it's kind of like going for a ride with us - 2 up... & you get to see some of the roads we went on.
Music is oldies but goodies - enjoy the ride...

Hey RK looks like you had a great time! We will have to make a trip up there ourselves and maybe some of our members will like to join us. Anyone out there like to do a one dayer?
Great pic's & video RK. You got a whole lot more traffic there than I deal with in rural NM. When i was MUCH younger, I lived in california along the coast around Pismo beach & Grover City, a block from the beach, the good ol days (I think)!
