Hey Carpenter - thank you very much for the suggestion. I will look for Dragos when we head south.

Not a safari in miles maybe 400 but haven't ridden since last summer so its a biggey to me. Going home to LONDON, put some flowers on mum and dads grave, spend some quiet time with them and then visit the old places where I grew up.so many good memories. Then take the long way home,no motorways just country lanes and minor roads. Just,a small insignificant journey to most I suppose, but a journey to me that will be priceless.

That sounds like a fantastic outing on your bike......not insignificant at all! :icon_thumbsup:

Hope everyone has a great and safe year of rides. I'm staying close to the nest this year, any of you heading out to see the west coast let me know.

Greetings all,
We head out for Montana in the morning and hope the forest fires are extinguished by the time we arrive at Glacier Nat Park on Monday. As of yesterday, 21 miles of the 50 mile Going to the Sun Road were closed due to fires. We may have to implement a Plan B once we arrive at Glacier! Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the summer.

Hey twoiron72,
Great to hear from you, hope that new bike is EVERYTHING you hoped for. Don't get near those fires if they are still there, winds can change and things can 'heat up quickly'... We just had a bunch of cars and trucks go up in flames on the interstate out here because of that. Better to be on the side of caution. Be safe and have a great trip!! Keep us posted on your safe return and some pics of the trip.
