Went out with a new group i've been on a couple of rides with. Got a early start to beat the crowds and police there. On the way up the sun was brutal on the eyes thrown in with some really dark shadow covered corners. New pavement up there but theres always rocks,pebbles,sand and sometimes boulders in the corners. Today was the cleanest i've ever seen it up there. Coming back i wasn't with the group. I've told the leaders in the past i need a couple of minutes heads up before we leave to get my cameras squared away. They had a new guy leading and everybody got ready and i didn't want to hold them up so i waved them on. Worked out good i got to see a dear and enjoy myself. Got back to the group they were going off on a side road i knew it was a mistake to take new riders down those roads. Me the green V and his buddy headed home. Today i found one guy lost it in a sandy corner he's in ICU with a lacerated kidney. He was riding the new honda 700.

Sorry to hear he got hurt - watched the video first half so far - seems they like to ride over their limits - not a lot of looking after you...
Really glad to hear you didn't get tangled up in any of that.
