Had a good day Tuesday. Me and a couple freinds headed up to Burlington,VT about 9:30A.M. On the way up stopped at the dealerships in both Essex Jct (Green Mt HD) and Barre (Wilkins HD) to check out the new models and try on some rain gear and summer jackets.

One thing about the interstates up here, White River Jct,VT and north, is generally speaking not crowded baring some unforseen scheduled concert or some other event and Tuesday was no exception. Nothing but mountains and 65mph speed limit.

The water cooled/radiator deals are well done. The small radiators are hidden in the lowers and consequently the once useable cubbies are no longer useable, holding a fan on one side and all the wire what nots in the other. The seat height is now about 28" from 26-27 in 2012 and 2013. Kinda steep for shorter riders like me. Same frame, just a beefier seat. And I read somewhere someone thought the tour pack was smaller..its actually bigger. 4.7 up from 4.5 cubic feet

Burlington is the home of University of Vermont and one big party college town. Stoners and granola crunching liberals. Tons of pubs, bars and restaurants. We did not fit in but participated anyways. Hardest part was pacing the beverage consumption in a manner so as not to be in a DWI status.

All in all it was roughly a 260 mile casual day in the mountains.

While at the dealership trying on coats one of the jackets with the dual zipper(?WTF?) came lose and I couldn't get it undone. Next thing I know both of the hot female sales ladies were on their knees in front of me trying to get it lose. In the mean time my 2 hillariously well meaning freinds were laughing their arses off and couldn't pass up the photo op. Honest the zipper was snagged.

From the picture - I'd have to go with "smoking hot" good thing you behaved yourself and didn't rest your beer on one of their heads...

They were. One was a Filipino who've I'd know for a while and the other a red head. I was trying to be professional during the public display of suspect behavior. It was impossible with my cackling in the background buddies. I wanted to buy a summer water proof jacket but either the double zippered deals wouldn't work or my stomach was to big.
